Wadi Degla Virtual Museum | Light Architecture Installation | Exhibition Design

Wadi Degla Virtual Museum
Portable Exhibition
Design + Construction
The Design aims at creating an adaptive modular space, which has a dynamic response to various forms of Exhibitions according to different contexts where the “portable space” may be situated.

The Design proposal includes some of the probable variations of the space design, However the possible variations are not meant to be limited to them. The end user and the operation team of “WDVM” are invited to take part in the design process through figuring out the best suitable adjustment for the space according to the location requirements and the audience capacity needs.
Wadi Degla Virtual Museum is a lightweight mobile space that hosts the virtual museum activities in different contexts, it mainly promotes environmental awareness specifically focusing on "Wadi Degla" an old valley in the eastern Egyptian desert with a great geological importance. The project was funded by gef & UNDP and managed by Nature Conservation Egypt. The main purpose of the portability of the space is to be able to host environmental events in any part of the city and to be accessible and reachable by every type of audience, events were held in schools & universities, indoor & outdoor spaces, public spaces and parks, urban centers & low income urban communities
