Maysa Residence | Fayoum
Site Integration: Design blended indoor & outdoor spaces. The continuity of the structural walls designed to achieve an integration between indoor & outdoor spaces which created intermediate spaces which are not totally closed nor fully open.

Structure: The continuous walls along north-south axis act as bearing walls, while the North & South facades stand as free facades achieving cross ventilation and Qarun lake view.

Water Education Center | El-Heiz
Brief: Emphasized natural contour lines, using the different levels of topography to create a self-irrigated system, supplied by the building own services (bath, kitchen) and located on the highest land level in order to feed the lower lands with the needed resources.

Architecture + Agriculture theme is divided into two main elements, architectural spaces and agriculture spaces. They both depends on one another, which results an integrated sustainable environment.

Form: The design generated in free smooth forms to achieve the best air flow and longing for harmony with the context.
Site: Preserving the natural site levels ,while substituting the soil of highest level (where the building is located) with stone. Building material: Using palms as pillars and beams while using the mixture of mud and straw to build the walls.
Equipment: The building is equipped with a water recycling system which is located underneath the surface, gets the water from baths and kitchens above and reuse it for irrigation after making the suitable treatment.
Energy: Free accessible spaces on the roofs include solar panels, solar heater, and roof gardens.

Folk Cultural Center | Old Cairo
Brief: The main idea behind the design is to reconnect the urban fabric of one of the most old historical neighborhoods in Cairo physically and visually.
A huge ascending ramp is reaching for a panoramic view for the surrounding context, while cultural activities are contained in the connecting system as open gallery ramp and open air theater on roof.
The map shows how metro rail way cuts the urban fabric in to two isolated parts.

Barajeel House | UAE
Inspired by the historic wind catchers "Barajeel" in the UAE, a traditional architecture element. The whole house is designed to act as a giant modern wind catcher. It is all oriented towards the desired wind, with big openings on the north side, while preserving a big space at the backyard, resulting a difference in the air flow pressure and achieving cross-ventilation.
The house facade is supported with light fold-able diamond lattice screens, They provide security and privacy while allowing air flow + providing extra-shading.

Blue Hole Protectorate
Sinai | Egypt
"Planning and Design of Visitors' Facilities at the Blue Hole Diving Site" at Abu Galum Protectorate in South Sinai in Egypt
As a project architect, I applied sustainable measures for every project aspect, leading a team of creatives to produce:

1- Comprehensive master plan for the project. This master plan included a complete vision for improving the infrastructure and visitors facilities in the area, complemented with an action plan as per the implementation priorities.
2- Design a plan for the improvement of existing built structures in the area proposing urban and architectural features that should be applied to achieve a functional and harmonious setting.
3- Design the project's facilities and infrastructure elements including gate, signage, parking spaces, sheds, solid waste separation units, and waterless composting toilets.
